“Desde Mi Ventana” is the story of six young people who see life through the eyes of American composers Pasek and Paul . Eyes that look out the window, observing what happens on the other side of the glass and, in turn, the reflection of what happens within. The poet Wallace Stevens used to say that “it is not always easy to tell the difference between thinking and looking out the window.” Just ask the solitary women in Edward Hopper’s urban portraits. This work stems from an admiration for the music of composers Benk Pasek and Justin Paul , and from the passion of a group of friends to sing and embark on a personal project together.
