Notes: Excellent HD capture of the original tour cast of the 2019 Best Musical Tony Award winner. It’s filmed in 16:9 with a mix of wides, mediums, and closeups from the center balcony. The entire cast is fabulous and bursting with energy, which brought some great reactions from the audience. There are some occasional railing obstructions at the very bottom of the screen during wideshots, which usually don’t block much except for legs, and there are quick dropouts during applause. Most notably in the first act, there’s some minor wandering and framing slips that’ll place most of the action on the right side of the screen but it’s fixed for the second act. There’s a two minute blackout at the very beginning of Any Way the Wind Blows but audio is included. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call, the post-bows song (We Raise Our Cups), and playbill scans.
